Instructor training course (5 days long)
The project will culminate with a 5 day long aquaculture VET course for up to 20 teachers from Norway, Iceland and Scotland. It is expected that this course is going to be organized before or after Aqua Nor 2021 in Trondheim.

Unitized aquaculture course curriculumn
The project will design and develop a unitized aquaculture course curriculumn based up on:

  • Investigating and describing how the Scottish Quality Autority levels within aquaculture VET in Scotland may be compared to the levels within aquaculture VET in Norway. For husbandry staff, as an example, it is foreseen that the there may be a gap of 1-2 levels up to the Norwegian aquaculture VET levels. These gaps arrise as a consecuence of how the aquaculture VET systems are set up and organised,
  • Designing and developing an aquaculture curriculum for Norway that are described by applying small units.
  • Transfer and adapt this system solution for usage at Iceland.
